Abstract

The present work based on Rahes scheme utilizes an optical analogy of stress as a human effects of noise. Developing a life stress and illness model under a new environmental domain, which identifies the specific variables from a subjects exposure to a stressor to the eventual reporting of an illness, such as: (1) the "urban" stressor sources; (2) the "mediator factors" as defense mechanisms;(3) the "adaptive task" (categories) on the psychophysiological responses; (4) the "secondary effects" (after-effects) at the dysfunction illness level; (5) the fundamental disease-illness "range".
