Acoustic conditions inside a hospital should guarantee the necessary comfort for the development of its activities, without disturbance due to external or internal noise. This paper proposes an analysis of the impact of road traffic noise on the Clementino Fraga Filho University Hospital / HUCFF, located at the Fundão campus of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The purpose of the research is to assess road traffic noise levels in the university hospital and to assess whether sound pressure levels within the building are appropriate for patients and hospital professionals. The results showed that, for all measuring points evaluated on facades, the building is exposed to sound pressure levels above those recommended by federal law, exceeding approximately 10 dB (A). However, considering the insulation of the façades and the positioning of the building in relation to the main roads, there was no significantly critical situation regarding traffic noise.
