Abstract

Noise maps are currently the main tool used for the diagnosis of urban noise distribution and quantification, and consequently, its management and control. Although they are already mandatory in several countries, Brazil is still in the initial phase of this subject. Due to this demand, Sobrac São Paulo and the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo held the “First FAU USP Seminar on Sound Mapping”.
