FIA 2020 and Sobrac Meeting

Abstract

With the advance of the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty generated in the entire Acoustics and Vibrations community, the Brazilian Society of Acoustics (Sobrac) chose to postpone the 12th Iberoamerican Congress of Acoustics, to May 23 to 26, 2021, in the same city, Florianópolis/SC. The program will include lectures by world-renowned experts, as well as paper and poster presentations. A technical exhibition with the latest advances in products and equipment and the XXIX Sobrac Meeting will take place in parallel with the Congress. FIA2020 aims to promote the exchange of experiences of researchers, professors, students, and professionals from Ibero-American countries who work on issues of Acoustics, Vibrations, and related areas. It seeks to create an environment for discussion among people involved in the production, dissemination, and application of techniques and processes in the fields covered.
