Abstract

In this edition of the journal, we opened the book reviews section. The idea is to summarize the content of classic books and novelties — in matters related to the various sciences that involve acoustics and vibrations. In addition, interesting information about the authors will usually be accompanied, bringing a little more context about the works. The books reviewed were: Physical Approach to Engineering Acoustics (Ronald N. Miles), Environmental and Architectural Acoustics (Z. Maekawa, JH Rindel and P. Lord), Acoustics: An Introduction to Its Physical Principles and Applications (Allan D. Pierce), and Fundamentals of Spherical Array Processing (Boaz Rafaely).
