Abstract

The election of the Brazilian Acoustic Society for the 2021–2022 biennium took place from September, 2020 to December, 2020. The electoral process was completely remote, using online technology. The new national board, members of the deliberative and fiscal councils, as well as their alternates, were elected, in addition to the North, Northeast, Midwest, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul regional boards. Limesurvey, a cost-effective and reliable research survey online program, was the voting platform chosen. Results of the election were homologated in a remote meeting among all associates.
