Abstract

Academic events are important for promoting learning spaces that focus on sharing knowledge about certain topics. The “II Academic Month of Acoustical Engineering” (II MAEAC) was a substitute for the in-person event, considering the social distancing scenario caused by the pandemic. The event was organized by the Acoustic Engineering Academic Directory (DAAC) with the junior enterprise Acústica Jr’s assistance, both entities affiliated with the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil. Thus, the II MAEAC provided an environment that enabled the attending of interests of academics from different areas of knowledge, interested in the resolution of problems that are linked to the fields of the acoustic engineering professional.
